The majority of our events are weddings, so we've got a good deal of experience customizing receptions to reflect each couple's unique desires and personalities. We can also help with your ceremony if it's held at the same site as your reception.

Most of our clients are working with a pretty tight budget. The good news is, you can afford an experienced pro without breaking the bank. Our goal is to give you fantastic service while respecting your budget.

Rates vary depending on such factors as the nature of your event and the preparation required, the location of your event, difficulty of set-up, the number of hours requested and other unique service requests. The following are typical rates:

WEDDING RECEPTION:

Wedding ceremonies and receptions are highly detailed events requiring specialized attention.

Typically, between $645 and $895.

Dance floor lighting is already priced into your original price quote! BUT, if you really want to wow your guests, add:

Room uplighting dramatically enhaces the look of the venue and complements your color theme. Lights are strategically placed around the perimeter of the room where electricity is available. Uplighting is priced at $12 per light, up to 20 units:

Gobo lighting is essentially a projector that shines a pattern or custom designed (monogram) onto the dance floor or a wall. Gobo basic, select from a variety of designs we already own. Gobo monogram, custom design your own monogram with your initials and event date!

Prices listed above may be slightly higher or even lower depending on the unique circumstances of your event. Use the availability checker above to share with us the date and type of event you are planning, the location of your event, the start and end time of your event and the experience you wish to provide for your guests. We will give you a price quote and we will work with you to arrange just the right sound and lighting to make your event a memorable one.

When you decide to hire My Life DJ Services, a one page contract will be sent to you along with a login password to your online music request system and planning tools. The minimum deposit noted on your contract (currently $150) will be required within four weeks of receiving the contract, the balance is to be paid before or on the date of your special event.
